Overview

This Yamaha F25 (F25GETL) is a fuel-injected 25 hp four-stroke powered by a 432 cc (26.4 cu in) in-line two-cylinder SOHC powerhead that is famously light, quiet and economical. This configuration is set up for remote-control boats: it has electric start, power trim and tilt, and a 20-inch long shaft, and its 16-amp alternator keeps a battery charged for lights and small electronics. Yamaha rates it for a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range and turns a 2.08:1 gearcase for strong acceleration with the boat loaded. At roughly 141 lb it is one of the lightest EFI 25s available, so it transoms easily onto aluminum fishing boats, small center consoles, inflatables and sailboat auxiliaries. Electronic fuel injection means no choke and reliable cold starts, while the battery-charging output supports a fishfinder and nav lights. It is a versatile, dependable kicker or primary motor for smaller hulls. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
