Overview
This is a Yamaha VF115 V MAX SHO, the extremely-high-output performance version of Yamaha's 115, powered by a 1,832 cc (1.8L) DOHC 16-valve in-line four-cylinder block with electronic fuel injection. The SHO calibration pushes a higher full-throttle range of about 5,300-6,300 RPM for quick planing and strong top speed, while keeping the light 1.8L weight of roughly 377 lb. It spins a 2.15:1 gear ratio with a 35-amp alternator, electric start and power trim, and this example is set up on an extra-long 25-inch shaft with a choice of remote control or a multi-function tiller with trolling capability. That flexibility makes it a great fit for bay boats, flats skiffs, multi-species aluminum rigs and taller-transom applications. It was offered complete with remote control, cables, digital tacho and trim meter or with the multi-function tiller. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
