Overview

This is a pre-owned Suzuki DF150A in the matte-black 'Stealth' trim, a 150-horsepower four-stroke outboard built around a 2,867 cc (2.9L) DOHC 16-valve in-line four-cylinder powerhead with multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection. Suzuki's Lean Burn Control System reads engine load and leans the mixture in the cruise range, so this motor delivers a powerful hole-shot and strong mid-range while sipping fuel. It carries a full-throttle range of 5,000-6,000 RPM, a 2.50:1 reduction gear for good torque, a 54-amp charging alternator, electric start and power trim and tilt. The compact big-bore block gives it one of the best power-to-weight packages in its class at roughly 470 lb in the 20-inch configuration, with 20-inch and 25-inch shaft lengths offered. It runs on regular 87-octane unleaded and is a proven choice for center consoles, bay boats, aluminum multi-species rigs and pontoons.
