This 2009 Suzuki DF100 is a 100 hp four-stroke built on a 2,044 cc (124.7 cu in) in-line four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve powerhead with multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection, and it shows just 79 original hours. It shares the robust big-block architecture of the DF115/DF140 family, and its class-leading 2.59:1 reduction gear lets it swing a large-diameter prop for strong torque and hole-shot even on heavier boats. This is a 20-inch long-shaft unit with power trim and tilt, electric start and remote controls, backed by a 27-amp alternator for running electronics. Suzuki rates it for a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range, and at roughly 401 lb it repowers midsize aluminum and fiberglass fishing boats, bay boats and pontoons with ease.
