Overview

This is a pre-owned Mercury 115 FourStroke Command Thrust in the F115CT ELPT configuration, a 115-horsepower four-stroke built on the same 2,064 cc (2.1L) 16-valve SOHC inline-four as the standard 115 but paired with Mercury's larger Command Thrust gearcase. The bigger 4.8-inch gearcase and a lower 2.38:1 gear ratio let it swing a larger-diameter propeller, dramatically improving hole shot, load-carrying and low-speed control on heavy boats. It runs a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range, is water-cooled, and carries a 35-amp alternator with electric start and power trim and tilt on a 20-inch long shaft. This unit comes complete with remote control, a SmartCraft gauge and a stainless-steel propeller. Command Thrust is purpose-built for heavier pontoons, big multi-species boats and displacement hulls, and it runs on regular 87-octane fuel.
