Overview

This is a pre-owned 2023 Honda BF100A (model BF100 LRTU), Honda's 100-horsepower four-stroke built on a lightweight 1,496 cc inline-four, 16-valve SOHC block with Honda's VTEC variable valve timing and PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. VTEC opens up a second intake valve profile at higher rpm, giving strong top-end power from a small displacement while the engine idles smoothly and sips fuel at trolling speeds. It runs a full-throttle range of roughly 5,000-6,000 rpm through a 2.33:1 gear ratio, is water-cooled with a thermostat, and carries a 44-amp charging alternator. This example is a 20-inch long-shaft (L) with electric start, power trim and tilt, and remote control, and the seller lists just 42 operating hours in essentially new condition. It is an excellent match for aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, bay boats and mid-size runabouts rated up to 100 hp, delivering quiet, economical, low-emission performance. It runs on regular 87-octane unleaded and comes complete with remote control, cables and gauge. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
