Overview
This is a pre-owned Honda BF80 in the BF80 LRTU trim, an 80-horsepower four-stroke built on Honda's 1,496 cc inline-four with a 16-valve SOHC VTEC cylinder head and PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. VTEC variable valve timing delivers strong power up top from a light, compact block while keeping the engine quiet and economical at trolling and cruise speeds. It runs a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.33:1 gear ratio, is water-cooled, and carries a 44-amp alternator. This unit is configured as an extra-long 25-inch shaft with electric start, power trim and remote control, and comes complete with control box, cables and gauge. The taller transom height makes it a good fit for pontoons, sailboats needing a kicker, and boats with elevated transoms, and it runs on regular 87-octane fuel. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
