Overview
This is a pre-owned Honda BF100 in the BF100 LRTU trim, Honda's 100-horsepower four-stroke built on a light 1,496 cc inline-four with a 16-valve SOHC VTEC head and PGM-FI electronic fuel injection. VTEC variable valve timing switches to a high-lift cam profile at higher rpm, giving the compact block strong top-end power while keeping it quiet and economical at cruise and trolling speeds. It runs a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.33:1 gear ratio, is water-cooled with a thermostat, and carries a 44-amp charging alternator. This unit is a 20-inch long shaft with electric start, power trim and remote control, supplied complete with control box, cables and gauge. It is a great repower for aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, bay boats and mid-size runabouts, and runs on regular 87-octane unleaded. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
