Overview
This pre-owned Honda BF100, model code BF100 LRTU, is a 100-horsepower four-stroke outboard powered by a 1,496 cc SOHC 16-valve in-line four-cylinder block with programmed electronic fuel injection. As the high-output member of Honda's BF75/BF90/BF100 mid-range family, it uses Honda's automotive-derived engineering and VTEC-style breathing for strong mid-range and a wide full-throttle band of about 5,300-6,300 RPM, geared at 2.33:1. This unit is a 20-inch long shaft with power trim, electric start and a multi-function control, and it charges through a 44-amp alternator. At roughly 366 lb it is a smooth, economical and famously durable choice for pontoons, center consoles, bay boats and aluminum fishing rigs.
