Overview

This pre-owned Evinrude E-TEC G2 250, model code H250WXC, is a 250-horsepower direct-injection two-stroke built on Evinrude's second-generation 3,441 cc (3.4L) 74-degree V6. The G2 delivers best-in-class torque and fuel economy with the lowest total emissions in its class, and integrates dynamic power steering and digital shift and throttle along with a high-output charging system rated around 133 amps total and 50 net dedicated. It turns a full-throttle range of roughly 5,000-6,000 RPM through a 1.85:1 gear ratio, with electric start and power trim, at about 558 lb. The 'XC' suffix indicates a counter-rotating lower unit on a 25-inch shaft, making this the ideal opposite-rotation engine for a twin- or triple-engine offshore rig, while the differing cowl graphics distinguish it from the standard package.
