Overview
This is a 2018 Yamaha VF250 V MAX SHO, model code VF250LA, a 250-horsepower four-stroke built on Yamaha's 4,169 cc (4.2L) 60-degree V6 with DOHC 24-valve heads and electronic fuel injection. The V MAX SHO line is engineered for performance, blending big-bore torque and hole-shot with the light weight and top-end normally associated with two-strokes, at roughly 505 lb. It produces a full-throttle range of 5,000-6,000 RPM through a 1.75:1 gear ratio and features powerful charging with about 46 amps at 1,000 RPM and 50 amps maximum, plus electric start and power trim.
