Overview

This is a pre-owned 2018 Yamaha VF200 V MAX SHO in the 20-inch VF200LA configuration, a 200-horsepower four-stroke driven by a 4,169 cc (4.2L) 60-degree V6 with a DOHC 24-valve head and electronic fuel injection. The V MAX SHO line is engineered to be lighter and quicker than comparable two-strokes, using a long-track intake, plasma-fused sleeveless cylinders and a knock sensor to deliver an aggressive hole shot prized by bass and offshore anglers. It runs 5,000-6,000 rpm at full throttle through a 1.86:1 gear ratio and delivers strong charging with 50 amps of alternator output from 2,500 rpm up. This example is a 20-inch long shaft with electric start and power trim and tilt. It is ideally suited to bass boats, bay boats, flats skiffs and multi-species rigs where quick planing and top-end speed matter, and it runs on regular 87-octane fuel.
