Overview

This is a pre-owned Yamaha LF200XCA, the counter-rotating version of Yamaha's lightweight 200 HP in-line four-cylinder four-stroke. It displaces 2,785 cc (2.8 L) through a DOHC 16-valve powerhead with EFI, running a 1.86:1 gear ratio in the 5,000-6,000 rpm range. The 'LF' designation means it is a left-hand counter-rotation unit built for the port side of twin- and triple-engine installations, in the 25-inch (XL) shaft length. At roughly 487 lb it is one of the lightest engines in its class, with electric start, power trim and tilt and a 50-amp alternator. This makes it a favorite for offshore center consoles and larger bay boats rigged with multiple engines that need balanced, vibration-free handling. It runs on 87-octane regular fuel and delivers strong hole-shot and cruise efficiency. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
