Overview

The Evinrude E-TEC G2 150 H.O. is a 66-degree V6 two-stroke built around Evinrude's second-generation E-TEC direct-injection system, displacing 167 cu in (2,744 cc / 2.7L) with a 3.386 x 3.100 in bore and stroke. Because every revolution is a power stroke, it delivers strong hole-shot and quick time-to-plane while meeting three-star emissions and going years between scheduled dealer service. It runs an integrated digital shift and throttle (iDTS) with electric start, spins a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.17:1 gearcase, and puts out a class-leading 133 amps of total alternator output (50 amps net dedicated) to power electronics and accessories. The H.O. tune adds extra torque and speed over the standard 150, making it a favorite for bass and bay boats, multi-species rigs and heavier fiberglass hulls. Rigging is simplified by the G2's integrated hydraulics and customizable side panels, and the auto-oiling two-stroke design means there are no oil changes to perform. It is offered in 20 in and 25 in shaft lengths. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
