Overview

The Yamaha F50 shares the same 996 cc (1.0 L) inline-four SOHC eight-valve four-stroke as the F60, tuned to 50 horsepower with electronic fuel injection. The extra-smooth four-cylinder design, a 1.85:1 gear ratio and a 5,000-6,000 rpm operating range give it easy planing and quiet cruise, while a 16-amp alternator handles accessories. This F50HETL is a 20-inch long-shaft with power trim and tilt, electric start and remote controls, weighing roughly 247 lb. It carries Yamaha's well-earned reputation for reliability, corrosion resistance and economy. The F50 is a strong choice for pontoons, aluminum and fiberglass fishing boats, and small runabouts rated for 50 hp. Delivered complete with remote control, cables and tachometer. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
