Overview

This 2019 Yamaha F50 is a 50-horsepower four-stroke driven by the same smooth 996 cc in-line four-cylinder SOHC EFI powerhead used in the F60, and it shows only about 107 hours of use. The four-cylinder design and 1.85:1 gearing give it refined, quiet running and strong midrange pull, while Yamaha's variable trolling RPM lets you fine-tune idle speed in 50-rpm steps for controlled trolling. It runs a 5000-6000 rpm full-throttle range, starts electrically, and is rigged as a 20-inch long shaft with power trim and tilt and a choice of multifunction tiller or remote controls. At roughly 247 lb it is well suited to aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, jon boats and small runabouts. A 16-amp alternator supplies charging for electronics and livewells. Low hours and clean four-stroke running make this a dependable, economical mid-range motor. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
