Overview

This is a pre-owned Tohatsu MFS115A, a 115-horsepower four-stroke built on a 2,231 cc 16-valve inline-four with electronic fuel injection. The large-displacement Tohatsu block delivers smooth acceleration, strong mid-range torque and dependable, fuel-efficient operation, and it shares much of its engineering with Tohatsu's proven 90-120 hp family. It runs a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.15:1 gear ratio, is water-cooled, and offers electric start with power trim and tilt. This example is set up for remote control and uses an external fuel tank. The MFS115A is a versatile choice for medium to large fishing boats, center consoles, pontoons and multi-purpose recreational hulls that want reliable four-stroke power.
