Overview

This is a pre-owned Tohatsu BFT250 in the DXCDA configuration, a 250-horsepower V6 four-stroke that shares its Honda-engineered powerhead design. It uses a 60-degree SOHC 24-valve V6 displacing 3,583 cc with VTEC and programmed fuel injection, delivering strong offshore performance with excellent efficiency. Rated at 250 horsepower with a wide-open-throttle range of 5,000-6,000 rpm and a 2.00:1 gear ratio, it features Drive-By-Wire (DBW) electronic throttle and shift and counter-rotation, making it ideal as the second engine on a twin- or triple-engine rig. This is the 25-inch (X) extra-long shaft version with electric start, power trim and tilt and a 60-amp charging system. It suits offshore center consoles, larger bay boats and multi-engine setups.
