This is a pre-owned Suzuki DF70A, a 70-horsepower four-stroke built on a 1,502 cc DOHC 16-valve inline-four with multi-point electronic fuel injection. It is one of the lightest engines in its class, using Suzuki's offset driveshaft and 2.59:1 two-stage gear reduction to pull a bigger prop for excellent mid-range punch and fuel efficiency. The engine spins a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range, is water-cooled, carries a 40-amp alternator, and offers electric start with power trim and tilt. This example is compatible with both remote control and tiller-handle steering, making it flexible for a range of rigs. The DF70A is a popular repower for aluminum fishing boats, center consoles, pontoons and multi-purpose vessels that want strong performance without the weight of a larger block.
