Overview

This is a pre-owned Suzuki DF175 EFI, a 175-horsepower four-stroke built on Suzuki's 2,867 cc in-line four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve powerhead. It runs multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection and operates in a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range while turning a 2.50:1 gear ratio for strong acceleration and offshore performance. It is set up here as a 20-inch (L) long-shaft unit with electric start, power trim and tilt and mechanical remote steering, complete with an external fuel tank. Dry weight is approximately 476 lb and a 44-amp alternator handles typical electronics loads. Suzuki's lean-burn control and offset-driveshaft layout give the DF175 excellent fuel economy and low-speed torque for its output. It is a dependable high-output choice for offshore center consoles, bay boats, deck boats and performance hulls, and it runs on 87-octane regular fuel.
