Overview

This is a pre-owned Suzuki DF150 EFI, a 150-horsepower four-stroke built around Suzuki's proven 2,867 cc in-line four-cylinder, DOHC 16-valve powerhead. It runs multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection, is fresh-water and salt-water rated, and turns a 2.50:1 gear ratio in the 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle band. Standard equipment includes electric start, power trim and tilt, and mechanical remote steering, with a 44-amp alternator to keep electronics and batteries charged. Dry weight is roughly 470 lb, and the powerhead is offered in 20-inch and 25-inch shaft lengths, running on 87-octane regular fuel. It is a popular mid-range choice for center consoles, walk-arounds, aluminum deep-vees, pontoons and offshore skiffs that need dependable, economical 150 HP propulsion.
