Overview

The Suzuki DF115A is a 115-horsepower four-stroke built on Suzuki's 1,502 cc (91.7 cu in) DOHC 16-valve inline-four with multi-point electronic fuel injection, delivered new in 2020. It is rigged as a 20-inch long shaft with electric start, power trim and tilt, and remote control, with a full-throttle range of 5,000-6,000 rpm. Suzuki's Lean Burn control system and a 2.59:1 gear ratio give it excellent fuel economy and strong midrange pull for the displacement. A 44-amp alternator keeps batteries and electronics charged on longer runs. Compact and lightweight for its output, it is a versatile choice for bay boats, aluminum multi-species rigs and mid-size fiberglass runabouts.
