Overview

The Suzuki DF60A is a lightweight 60-horsepower four-stroke built on a 941 cc (0.94 L) inline-three with a 12-valve DOHC head and multi-point electronic fuel injection. This DF60ATS is the short-shaft (15-inch) configuration with power trim and tilt, electric start and remote controls (a trolling-capable luxury tiller is also available). Suzuki's Lean Burn Control delivers strong economy, and the engine runs to a 5,300-6,300 rpm range through a deep 2.27:1 gearcase for good hole-shot, with a 19-amp alternator and a dry weight around 227 lb. The short shaft makes it a natural on transoms rigged for 15-inch mounting, such as many aluminum fishing boats, jon boats and small skiffs. Delivered complete with remote control, cables and gauge.
