Overview

The Suzuki DF60A AV is a specialized high-thrust version of Suzuki's 941 cc (0.94 L) inline-three, 12-valve DOHC EFI four-stroke, rated at 60 horsepower. The AV model adds a purpose-built lower unit derived from the larger DF140A, and with taller reduction gearing and a matched high-thrust propeller it produces about 42% more forward thrust and 136% more reverse thrust than the standard DF60, a major advantage on heavy or high-windage boats. This DF60AVTL is a 25-inch extra-long-shaft with power trim and tilt, electric start and remote controls (a luxury tiller is also available), and it is essentially new with a full warranty. Lean Burn Control keeps fuel use low, and the engine spins to a 5,300-6,300 rpm range. It is ideal for pontoons, heavy aluminum boats, work skiffs and displacement hulls that need grip rather than top speed. Delivered complete with remote control, cables and gauge.
