Overview

This 2018 Suzuki DF60A is a 60 hp four-stroke built on a 941 cc (57.4 cu in) three-cylinder DOHC 12-valve powerhead with multi-point sequential EFI and Suzuki's Lean Burn control for excellent fuel economy. It is a 20-inch long-shaft unit with power trim and tilt and electric start, configured here with a multi-function luxury tiller, though remote-control rigging is also available. Suzuki rates it for a 5,300-6,300 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.27:1 gearcase, and its 19-amp alternator delivers strong charging even at low rpm for electronics. At roughly 229 lb it is compact and light for a 60, making it a superb repower for aluminum fishing boats, skiffs, pontoons and small center consoles, and this example is described as running and cooling perfectly.
