Overview

This Suzuki DF50A (model DF50ATL) is a 50-horsepower four-stroke powered by a 941 cc in-line three-cylinder DOHC 12-valve engine with multi-point electronic fuel injection, and it shows essentially zero operating hours. Suzuki's dual-overhead-cam, four-valve-per-cylinder design and lean-burn control deliver strong midrange torque, quiet running and class-leading fuel economy. It runs a 5300-6300 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.27:1 gear ratio, starts electrically, and is set up as a 20-inch long shaft with power trim and tilt and remote controls. A 19-amp alternator that charges strongly even at low rpm keeps electronics and batteries topped. At about 227 lb it suits aluminum fishing boats, pontoons, jon boats and small runabouts.
