Overview

This pre-owned 2004 Suzuki DF140 EFI four-stroke is powered by an inline four-cylinder, 2044 cc (124.7 cu in) DOHC 16-valve powerhead and, with only about 158 recorded hours, remains a low-use engine. When it launched, the DF140 was the first four-stroke in the 140 hp class, and it delivers smooth, torquey performance across a 5600-6200 rpm range through a 2.59:1 gearcase. This long-shaft (20 in) unit is equipped with electric start, power trim and tilt, and remote controls, plus a robust 40-amp alternator for boats carrying electronics. At roughly 410 lb it offers big-displacement durability and effortless cruising for fiberglass runabouts, bay boats, deck boats, and pontoons rated in the 140 hp range. Its multi-point EFI ensures reliable starts and consistent fuel economy. This is a proven, dependable powerplant with plenty of service life remaining.
