This pre-owned Mercury 60 HP FourStroke EFI Command Thrust (2024) is a four-stroke outboard built on an inline four-cylinder, 995 cc (60.8 cu in) powerhead with electronic fuel injection for reliable cold starts and smooth, economical running. The Command Thrust package adds a larger-diameter gearcase and a numerically higher 2.33:1 gear ratio, swinging a bigger prop to move heavier loads such as pontoons, bay boats, and multi-species fishing rigs with authority. This unit is a long-shaft (20 in) motor with electric start, power trim and tilt, and can be run by remote controls or a big tiller, turning a 5500-6000 rpm wide-open range. At roughly 250 lb it stays manageable while delivering extra low-end grunt and better hole-shot than a standard 60. Mercury's SmartCraft-ready EFI system and maintenance-friendly layout make it a dependable everyday workhorse. It runs on regular unleaded and comes ready to rig.
