Overview

This is a pre-owned Mercury 150 Pro XS FourStroke, the performance-tuned version of Mercury's popular 150 hp four-stroke. It is built on a large 3.0-liter (183 cubic-inch) inline-four 4-stroke with electronic fuel injection, engineered for a hard hole-shot and strong top-end aimed at bass boats, multi-species rigs and aluminum performance boats. Rated at 150 horsepower with a wide-open-throttle range of 5,000-5,800 rpm and a 1.92:1 gear ratio, it combines big-displacement grunt with light weight (around 455 lb). This long-shaft model has remote control, electric start, power trim and tilt and a 60-amp alternator, and it runs on regular 87-octane fuel. The Pro XS is prized for quick acceleration and durability under hard use. It is supplied complete with control box, cables and counter.
