Overview

The Honda BF60 is a 60-horsepower four-stroke driven by a 998 cc (1.0 L) inline-three with a single overhead cam and programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI). Honda's BLAST system advances ignition timing on acceleration for a strong hole-shot, while Lean Burn Control leans the mixture at cruise for class-leading fuel economy; the engine turns a 2.33:1 gearcase in a 5,000-6,000 rpm range and puts out a 22-amp charge. This 2024 BF60 LRTU is a 20-inch long-shaft with power trim and tilt, electric start and remote controls, weighing about 239 lb, and it has only a handful of break-in hours. It also offers adjustable idle/trolling speed and NMEA 2000 network compatibility. The BF60 suits pontoons, aluminum and fiberglass fishing boats, RIBs and small deck boats.
