Overview
This Honda BF100 (BF100A), built in 2014, is a 100-horsepower four-stroke powered by a 1496 cc (1.5-liter) in-line four-cylinder 16-valve SOHC engine with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI). The four-cylinder powerhead runs smooth and quiet, and Honda's lean-burn control and charging technology deliver excellent fuel economy and strong battery output. It carries a 5000-6000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.07:1 gear ratio, starts electrically, and is configured as a 20-inch long shaft with power trim and tilt and remote controls. A high-output alternator (about 44 amps) easily supports a full electronics and accessory load. At roughly 361 lb it is a capable mid-size motor for aluminum and fiberglass fishing boats, pontoons and bay boats rated to 100 HP. This example runs and cools correctly and comes complete with control box, cables and gauge. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
