Overview

This Honda BF50 (model BF50 LRTU) is a 50-horsepower four-stroke built on an 808 cc in-line three-cylinder SOHC powerhead with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI). Honda's BLAST torque-boost and lean-burn control give it a quick hole-shot and excellent fuel economy, and at about 214 lb it is among the lightest 50-horse four-strokes on the market. It runs a 5000-6000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.31:1 gear ratio, starts electrically, and is configured as a 20-inch long shaft with power trim and tilt and a deluxe control handle. A 22-amp alternator keeps batteries and electronics charged. Its light weight, torque and Honda reliability make it ideal for aluminum fishing boats, jon boats, pontoons and small runabouts. Delivered complete and ready to run, it is an easy-to-own mid-range motor. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
