Overview

This Honda BF30 is a 30-horsepower four-stroke powered by a 552 cc in-line three-cylinder SOHC engine with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI). Honda's fuel-injected powerhead provides dependable starting, a smooth quiet idle and strong fuel economy, and the compact three-cylinder design keeps weight low at around 141 lb for easy handling and mounting. It runs a 5000-6000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.08:1 gear ratio, starts electrically, and is set up as a long-shaft with power trim and tilt and a deluxe control handle. Its light weight and reliability make it a great match for jon boats, aluminum fishing boats, skiffs, inflatables and sailboat auxiliary duty. Honda's four-stroke durability and clean, quiet running are well proven in this displacement. Delivered complete and ready to rig, it is an easy motor to own.
