Overview

The Yamaha F75LB is a 75-horsepower four-stroke built around a 1832 cc (1.8-liter) in-line four-cylinder 16-valve SOHC engine with electronic fuel injection. Its bigger displacement gives it a distinct torque and acceleration advantage in the class, letting it plane heavier hulls and cruise efficiently, while the four-cylinder architecture runs smooth and quiet. It spins a 5000-6000 rpm full-throttle range through a 2.15:1 gear ratio, starts electrically, and comes as a 20-inch long shaft with mechanical remote steering. Yamaha rates it at 353 lb dry, and a 35-amp alternator supports fish finders, livewells and lighting. This power option is ideal for aluminum boats, fiberglass runabouts, bay boats and pontoons rated up to 75 horsepower. Reliable, economical and well-supported, it is a popular repower choice.
