Overview

The Evinrude K115HWXF is a 115-horsepower E-TEC High Output outboard from BRP's final-generation E-TEC lineup, built around a 60-degree V4 displacing 1,726 cc (105 cu in). As a two-stroke direct-injection engine it delivers a power stroke every revolution, giving the H.O. tune strong hole-shot and midrange torque without the weight of a catalytic four-stroke. This unit carries an X-long 25-inch shaft and Evinrude's integrated iSteer Dynamic Power Steering, eliminating the need for a separate hydraulic helm pump. Running gear includes electric start, power trim and tilt, a 2.00:1 gear ratio and a 50-amp charging system, with a full-throttle range of 5,500-6,000 rpm. Evinrude's no-scheduled-dealer-maintenance design and automatic winterization make it low-fuss for offshore center consoles, deep-V hulls and multi-species fishing boats that want a light, powerful mid-range engine.
