Overview

The Evinrude E-TEC G2 200 H.O. (model H200HWXC) is a 200-horsepower direct-injection two-stroke on Evinrude's 74-degree, 3.4-liter (3,441 cc) V6. Its E-TEC Direct Injection fires a power stroke every revolution for instant throttle response and strong low-end torque, with no dealer-scheduled maintenance for the first five years or 500 hours. The engine spins 5,500-6,000 rpm at wide-open throttle, starts electrically, and its charging system supplies 133 amps total (50 net dedicated) for electronics-heavy rigs. Integrated power trim and tilt, available Dynamic Power Steering, regular 87-octane fuel capability and self-winterizing oiling round out the G2 package. Dry weight is roughly 526 pounds, and the model line is offered in 20-, 25- and 30-inch shaft lengths. It is a clean, powerful choice for bay boats, center-consoles and coastal fishing hulls.
