Overview

The Evinrude E60DPGL is a 60-horsepower E-TEC outboard in graphite finish equipped with power tilt and trim, built on the in-line two-cylinder direct-injection two-stroke platform displacing 863 cc (52.7 cu in). E-TEC direct injection produces a power stroke every revolution for rapid time-to-plane and crisp acceleration, while its automatic oil metering and stratified low-rpm mode eliminate premixing, break-in and scheduled maintenance for years. It runs a 5500-6000 rpm full-throttle range, starts electrically, and rides on a 20-inch long shaft, making it well suited to aluminum fishing boats, pontoons and small center-consoles that benefit from power trim. The 81-amp total alternator (25 amps net dedicated) easily handles electronics and accessories. At about 240 lb it remains light for a 60-horse motor. Power trim, quick planing and low upkeep make this a strong all-around mid-range choice. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
