Overview

This is a pre-owned Evinrude E-TEC 115 outboard, model E115DCX, rigged as an extra-long 25-inch shaft for taller transoms and offshore hulls. It runs Evinrude's 60-degree V4 E-TEC direct-injection two-stroke, displacing 1727cc (105.4 cu in) and pulling hard through a 5,500-6,000 rpm range on a 2.00:1 gearcase. E-TEC direct injection delivers a power stroke every revolution for instant response and superb hole shot, while a stout 133-amp total (50-amp net dedicated) charging system easily supports electronics-heavy rigs. At about 390 pounds it offers an excellent power-to-weight ratio for the 115-horsepower class, with self-mixing oil injection and no scheduled dealer maintenance for the first three years. This unit is equipped for remote-control operation and is a proven, low-maintenance repower for center consoles, bay boats and multi-species rigs.
