Overview

The 2022 Suzuki DF140B X is a 140-horsepower four-stroke built on Suzuki's 2,044 cc (124.7 cu in) DOHC 16-valve inline-four, the updated B-series of Suzuki's acclaimed light, compact 140. This unit is rigged as a 25-inch extra-long shaft with electric start, power trim and tilt and remote control, and runs a full-throttle range of about 5,000-6,000 rpm. A 2.59:1 gear ratio and Suzuki's Lean Burn control deliver strong acceleration with class-leading fuel economy, while the 44-amp alternator keeps electronics and batteries charged. The B revision refines fuel management and rigging while retaining the offset-driveshaft design that keeps weight near 410 lb. The taller shaft makes it a natural fit for bay boats, center consoles and higher-transom fishing hulls. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
