Overview

The 2022 Suzuki DF140A X is a 140-horsepower four-stroke built on Suzuki's 2,044 cc (124.7 cu in) DOHC 16-valve inline-four, praised as one of the best power-to-weight packages in its class. This unit carries a 25-inch extra-long shaft with electric start, power trim and tilt and remote control, and runs a full-throttle range of about 5,000-6,000 rpm. A 2.59:1 gear ratio turns a large propeller for strong hole-shot, while Suzuki's Lean Burn control and multi-point EFI deliver excellent fuel economy and smooth response. The 44-amp alternator supports electronics and battery charging, and the compact offset-driveshaft design keeps weight down near 410 lb. The taller shaft makes it well suited to bay boats, center consoles and higher-transom fishing hulls. Inspected and sold with a clean bill of sale; freight-delivered.
