Overview

This is a pre-owned 2018 Yamaha F300XCA, the award-winning 4.2-liter Offshore V6 that Yamaha calls the king of its V6 lineup. The 60-degree V6 displaces 4,169 cc (4.2 L) through 24 valves and delivers 300 HP with EFI fuel delivery, spinning a 1.75:1 gear ratio in a 5,000-6,000 rpm full-throttle range. At around 551 lb (mechanical) it is up to 73 pounds lighter than some competitors and up to 19 percent faster at cruise, which is why it is a top pick for larger offshore boats. It comes in the 25-inch (XL) shaft configuration with electric start, power trim and tilt, and a high-output 90-amp alternator for demanding electronics loads. Yamaha recommends 89-octane fuel, and the big-displacement design produces strong midrange torque for getting heavy hulls onto plane.
