Overview

This 2003 Sundowner two-horse is built with Sundowner's aluminum skin over a galvanneal steel frame, a combination that resists rust while delivering rugged durability. The two-horse layout carries a pair of full-size horses with a front dressing and tack area for saddles, bridles and supplies. Drop-down head windows, roof vents and a side escape door keep the compartment ventilated and offer safe access, while rubber mats protect the floor. It rides on tandem axles with electric brakes and couples to a standard 2-5/16-inch ball, towing easily behind a half-ton or 3/4-ton pickup. Sundowner's build reputation makes these trailers dependable long-haul workhorses for trail riders, lesson barns and local competitors.
